Local Charity Support

We believe in putting compassion at the core of everything we do. This is why we are proud to announce our partnership with PASIC, a remarkable charity dedicated to making lives better for families of children with cancer across the East Midlands.
Ongoing Support

TURNING COMPASSION INTO ACTION

Our CEO's personal connection to PASIC has fueled our company's commitment to actively contribute to their cause. Through various initiatives, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns, Tunley continues to stand by PASIC, ensuring that the vital support they provide reaches those who need it most.

In recent events, Tunley's CEO William Beer and Scientist Robert Moorcroft took on 'The Ultramarathon'. Running a distance of 50km from dawn through sun, rain and snow. They raised an amazing £909 for PASIC and this is only the first of many runs and other fundraising events.

The Impact

TOGETHER, WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE

PASIC currently provide practical, social, emotional and financial support to over 400 families of children and young people with cancer in the East Midlands. For many, PASIC are a social lifeline at their most traumatic and distressing time. Just a few of the initiatives they have put in place are outlined here.

Support on the Wards
They support parents and carers on children's cancer wards at Leicester, Northampton and Nottingham's Children's Hospitals. And when the family returns home, they're on hand to relieve their sense of despair.

Support Groups
Offering support groups, advice, signposting for families, including online support, so they always have someone to reach out to when times get tough.

Providing Grants
Providing grants to help families cope with the hidden costs of having a seriously ill child. As well as compassionate grants to support with funeral costs when young people don't recover.

Activities
They offer fun respite activities on children's cancer wards to make hospital stays more fun and that little bit easier - and because first and foremost children need to be children.

Days Out
The organisation of days out and events for the whole family to reduce isolation, strengthen relationships, provide opportunities to access peer supprot and enjoy some much-needed 'normal' family fun.
